Notice on the use of cookies

This notice is given in accordance with the Electronic Communications Act (ZEKom-1), which regulates the rules regarding the use of cookies and similar technologies for data storage or access to data stored on your computer or mobile device.

To optimize the website www.touras.si (hereinafter: “Website”) in terms of system performance, practicability, and provision of useful information about the services, company Tour As d.o.o., which is the operator of the Website (hereinafter: “the Operator”), automatically collects and stores information in log files in Internet browser and on the user’s computer. These include the user’s Internet Protocol (IP) address, data on the browser type and language settings, the operating system, Internet Service Provider (ISP) and date/time of the visit.

The Operator uses these data to effectively manage the Website in order to find out more about the behavior of customers across the Website, to analyze trends and to collect comprehensive demographic information about the users. The collected data can be used for marketing and advertising purposes, as well as for communication (e.g. the optimization and enhancement of the user experience to guarantee more attractive offers and services).

In the event of the usage of data which are not personal data, together with personal information, such data are treated as personal data as long as they are used collectively.

What is »cookie«?

Web pages, e-mails, web services, advertising and interactive applications can use the so-called cookies (hereinafter: “cookies”) for the optimization of services.

A cookie is a small file that is loaded on a user’s computer, mobile device or similar (hereinafter: “computer”) when visiting the Website. This makes it possible to identify the user’s devices when establishing a connection between the web server and the Internet browser. The main purpose of the cookie is to enable the user to be presented with a personalized / customized Website allowing for a more personal experience during a visit to the Website and better response capabilities to individual user’s requirements. Cookies are also used so that the operator learns more about the way the users use the Website and help the Operator to improve the user’s experience.

What kind of cookies does Website operator use?

Third parties may thus collect user’s data from different websites and use them for various purposes, from advertising, analytics and improvements of their products.

Where the user’s consent is necessary for the usage or installation of cookies, the Operator will obtain the user’s consent before using them or installing them into the user’s device (computer).

Tracking and analysis

For the continuous optimization of their marketing communications, the Operator uses the analytical software Google Analytics by Google Inc. on their websites, which uses cookies for the purpose of analyzing traffic (counting visitors, identification of browsers and keywords in search strings, problems with the navigation Panel). The Website or the Operator informs the user about the cookies and obtains their consent before using them or downloading them to the user’s device (computer).

Data collected through tracking cookies are anonymous and are not associated with personal information. The Operator does not share this information with any third party for their own use. If the user does not accept cookies, no information is stored.

In accordance with the applicable legislation, technical data storage or access to them is permitted solely for the purpose of transmitting the message through an electronic communications network or, if this is strictly necessary, to provide an information society service explicitly requested by the user. For these purposes the Operator uses its own session cookies and cookies to count the number of visitors to the website; cookies are only stored for as long as necessary in order to achieve their purpose or for the duration of the browsing session at the longest, and are deleted at the end of the session.
