How about the city?

On foot

The center of Ljubljana is a pedestrian zone, full of various tourist attractions, boutiques and bars, which stretches on both banks of the Ljubljanica river, from Dragon to Šentjakob bridge. The city center is best explored on foot or by bike, but you can also order the free Kavalir electric vehicle, which is especially welcome if you have luggage.

By bike

A very popular, simple, ecological and affordable means of transport is the city bike Bicikelj, which can be used after registration on the website www.bicikelj.si, for a symbolic cost of 1 EUR for registration. Registration to the system is mandatory, which takes place via the website and is valid for one week of use. The first 60 minutes of each use are free, after the first hour the use is subject to a fee.

With the Cavalier – a free electric vehicle

You can drive through the pedestrian zone of the old city center of Ljubljana with a free electric vehicle called Kavalir, which you can call every day, between 9.00-22.00, on tel. +386 31 666 331 or +386 31 666 332.

By city bus

Ljubljana Passenger Transport (LPP) buses can be used to travel around the city with the Urbana city card, which can be purchased at newspaper kiosks and newsagents, at post offices, tourist information centers and at the passenger ticket offices of the public company LPP. You can top up your Urbana card with money at points of sale or at t.i. Urbanomats, green vending machines standing at bus stops.
